[ so if you happen to roam around the center plaza, you'll see Kyouhei here trying to...sew? looks like he ripped a nasty hole in one f his costumes and is trying to fix it.

trying very hard. most of the time he's hissing in pain after pricking his finger and looking exasperated. oh and don't mind the 9'10" ice looking dragon curled around and behind him.

as intimidating as it looks.. things aren't always as they appear.]

[ and later you'll find Kyouhei actually doing the roaming around now, inspecting every single person without a pair of wings with curiosity and enthusiasm. don't mind his fiery flaming boar following in tow.

though he may just acknowledge someone with wings like himself] So why is it that they don't have wings like us?

[ And this is Red just staring at the flaming boar then at Kyouhei. Boy, why are you asking him?? He doesn't even know why he's here. ]

I'm not sure. [ Pikachu who is on his shoulder is looking down at him with the look of disapproval--but then waves that the other Pokemon over there. ]

[Kyouhei has to double-take and ends up walking around Red, seeing that.. well, just like other "guests" this Trainer too doesn't have wings.] Course you don't, you don't have any either so you're new just like the rest of them!

[Though.. he looks up at the teen, taking in his appearance and that.. oh, a pikachu!! Kyouhei's Emboar emits a fiery breath but greets the electric in a friendly manner. (even if the fire type is pumped for a battle, he can be friendly too..!)

Pikachu will squeak happily and try to talk to the piggy. Let him make friends, yo. Other than that, Red is only a tiny bit surprised that someone knows who he is.

And Emboar will chat with the squeaky mouse, at least holding up the intimidating part of the pair. Except his mood is more chipper now and it looks more relaxed.]

It really is you! Wow, I didn't think I'd get to see you until the Champions Tournament in Driftveil! I was gonna join but with all the other Champions from across the regions joining in too.. [well, it's a bit nerve wrecking.] Oh! I'm Kyouhei! This is Enbuoh, my Emboar. It's really nice to meet you!

[ Pikachu squeaks. HIS BRETHREN IN THE YELLOW FOREST ARE DIFFICULT TO FIND NEVERTHELESS! Sneaky critters they are, Kyouhai. Looking for them would make you rip out your hair. ]

Yeah there aren't any wild Pikachus that I know of, I think my best chance is at a trade. [ sneaky critters indeed.. but there's always another way!! which is rustling in Kyouhei's bag, and gives him an idea.] Oh! I know!

[and so he opens it and pulls up his little purple fox.] Pikachu meet Zorua! Zorua, meet Pikachu! Zorua has a pretty incredible ability. So he can at least look the image.

[he gives a dramatic pause to bring in the curiosity. the zorua yips in greeting meanwhile, his bouncy tail wagging.]

[ Pikachu blinks a couple of times before squeaking and jumping down to investigate this new breed of fox. Awkwardly circling around it before pawing its tail.

IT'S SO FLUFFY HE'S GOING TO DIE. ]

Zorua... [ "At least look the image?" Raising his eyebrows before pointing at the fox. ] So he's like a ditto?

[ The dark fox wags its tail even more so, snickering at Pikachu's awkward circling and reaction. It even does the same! Circling around with a curious eye before it backs up and jumps in a whirl of bright magenta and

lands as the perfect image of a Pikachu. mind the foxy smirk on its face.] Basically, see? The only thing is it's an illusion, so he keeps his moves and type.

Imagine in a battle though. It can use its illusion to act as another Pokemon in my team, the other Trainer might think he has an advantage depending on his own Pokemon he sends out. Except what do you know- it may actually end up the other way around! [ does he impress you, senpai!? ]
